Official says Russia working on monetization of Venezuelan oil

CARACAS, Oct 7 (PRIME) -- Venezuela hopes to find solutions for monetization of its oil with Russia, Vice President for economy and finances Tareck El Aissami said at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Yury Borisov.

“We hope that we will find detailed solutions for monetization of our oil, we hope to establish a new partnership with Russian companies, hope to attract more investment from Russia and more companies,” El Aissami said.

The official also said that Russia and Venezuela were discussing support of agriculture, exploration and development of aluminum, nickel, and upgrade of the chemical industry.
